  1. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD. The "Belgard Invite the Unexpected Sweepstakes" (the "Sweepstakes") begins on August 10, 2008 at 12:00:00am EST and ends on November 30, 2008 at 11:59:00pm EST (the "Sweepstakes Period").

  2. HOW TO ENTER. During the Sweepstakes Period, visit the website www.bepreparedforcompany.com and follow the instructions to complete and submit the entry form. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for submissions or entries that are lost, late, incomplete, delayed, illegible, garbled, misdirected, or misrouted for any reason or for any computer, phone or phone line hardware or software malfunction. Limit One Entry Per Household.

  3. ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) contiguous United States and the District of Columbia, who are homeowners and at least 18 years of age as of August 9, 2008, except employees (and family members of employees) of Oldcastle Architectural, Inc., Bevolo Gas and Electric Lights, Inc., Oldcastle Surfaces, Inc., Whirlpool Corp., and their subsidiaries and affiliates, and any individuals engaged in any way in the development, production, administration, distribution or execution of this Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

  4. PRIZE (1). One (1) Grand Prize shall be awarded, to consist of:

    - Belgard paver and/or retaining wall products valued up to $20,000, including shipping;

    - Oldcastle Surfaces granite countertops valued up to $1,500, including shipping (approximately 4' by 8');

    - KitchenAid 36" freestanding grill, stainless steel refreshment center, and outdoor refrigerator;

    - Installation of all the above products using a design created by a landscape architect or exterior designer based on the Winner's backyard specifications;

    - Bevolo lighting fixtures valued up to $2,000, including shipping. Sponsor will not install the Bevolo lighting fixtures.

    Total approximate retail value of the Grand Prize: $29,297. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries received. All federal and state taxes on the Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. The Winner must sign an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and a publicity release within fourteen (14) days of prize notification or the Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of the Grand Prize is permitted, except in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Grand Prize will only be awarded if the Winner complies with these Official Rules. Oldcastle, Inc. makes no warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, with regard to the merchantability, quality, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Grand Prize. Winner and Sponsor will coordinate the installation date of the Grand Prize, which date shall be determined based on Winner’s schedule, Sponsor’s schedule, and seasonal weather concerns. Notwithstanding the foregoing, installation of the Grand Prize must begin on or before September 1, 2009 or Winner will forfeit the Grand Prize and an alternative winner will be selected, except that Sponsor may extend this deadline in Sponsor's sole discretion. Winner must be capable of receiving the Grand Prize and to the extent that any home owner’s association or community approval is required, Winner must obtain these permissions prior to delivery and installation of the Grand Prize.

  5. DRAWING. The Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries on or about January 15, 2009, by independent judging organization whose decision is final. The Winner will be notified by mail, email and/or telephone within 30 days. If prize notification is returned as undeliverable or the Winner cannot be located or does not respond by deadline date, an alternative winner will be chosen. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the Winner, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the account holder of the e mail address provided in the entry (or the first person listed for an account with multiple names).

  6. CONSENT AND RELEASE. By submitting an entry, you agree to release Oldcastle, Inc., Bevolo Gas and Electric Lights, Inc., Oldcastle Surfaces, Inc., Whirlpool Corp., and their advertising agencies, respective officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries, from liability of any kind or nature for any loss, claims, damages, or injuries of any kind associated with participation in this contest or acceptance, possession, participation in or use or misuse of any prizes. You accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges relating to participation in this contest, selection of winners and awarding of prizes, whose decisions are final. Except where prohibited acceptance of a prize constitutes the consent of the Winner that Sponsor may use your name and likeness for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation or approval. ADDITIONALLY, ACCEPTANCE OF A PRIZE CONSTITUTES THE CONSENT OF THE WINNER THAT SPONSOR MAY USE PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEO AND ANY OTHER IMAGES OR LIKENESSES OF YOUR HOME BOTH BEFORE AND AFTER THE MAKEOVER FOR PURPOSES OF ADVERTISING AND TRADE WITHOUT FURTHER COMPENSATION OR APPROVAL. Acceptance of the Grand Prize constitutes Winner's agreement to grant the Sponsor reasonable access to Winner's property for purposes of installation of the Grand Prize and obtaining images or likenesses of the Winner's home.

  7. GENERAL CONDITIONS. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. No correspondence will be acknowledged. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized human intervention or other cause or event corrupt the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest. Sponsor may disqualify any person who engages in or attempts such activity. If the Contest is prematurely cancelled, a Winner will be drawn from the entries submitted before the termination. By entering this contest, you also acknowledge and agree that your personal information from the entry form may be used by Oldcastle, Inc. for internal marketing analyses and to provide participant with information from time to time about Oldcastle, Inc. and Oldcastle, Inc. products and promotions. All personal information collected will be treated in a manner consistent with Oldcastle, Inc.'s privacy policy, which can be located at http://www.belgard.biz/privacy_policy.htm. If you do not wish to receive future offers, notices or other mailings from Oldcastle, Inc., please follow the "opt-out"/"unsubscribe" instructions located in Oldcastle, Inc.'s privacy policy. You can also "opt-out" or "unsubscribe" at any time by writing to Oldcastle, Inc. at unsubscribe@belgard.biz. Be sure to provide your name, email and postal address and specific information about the Oldcastle, Inc. information or subscription(s) that you no longer wish to receive. Please allow a few days for Oldcastle, Inc. to process your request. If you "opt out" of receiving further promotional materials or notices, the only communications you will receive from Oldcastle, Inc. will be about transactions that you initiate. By opting-out, residual information may nonetheless remain in our database and other records, which may not be permanently deleted.

  8. WINNERS' LIST. A winners' list will be available from January 30, 2009 to July 30, 2009 at www.belgard.biz/sweepstakes.
